About This Quote

The Man-Moth is a creature that lives in the forest and feeds on the blood of its prey. Although it may look like a harmless moth, it is an extremely dangerous one. Its victims, however, seem to be unaware of this fact and go about their day as usual, oblivious to the danger they are in. The Man-Moth has entered many homes and doesn’t leave without leaving its mark.

Although the damage it causes is minimal most of the time, there are occasions when it takes its revenge on those it thinks have wronged it. When such a time comes, the Man-Moth will do what most creatures will not: It will kill indiscriminately and do as much damage as it can before escaping from the scene. There is a saying among people who live near forests: “What the Man-Moth fears most he must do.” This saying means that no matter how afraid a person might be of a creature, he or she must still go out and face the risk of being attacked by that creature if they want peace to reign once more in their lives.
